If I order from the online store, how long until I can expect my goodies?
For shipping option, please allow up to 5 business days + delivery time. 
We also have a local delivery service for selected postcodes in Sydney for orders over $69.  You can choose from available time slots (Saturdays and Sundays only).
Or you can collect your order from our store. Please choose your preferred day and time from the available list.
When should I order my custom cake and/or cookies?
For wedding cakes or bombonieres, it is best to contact us as soon as you have a rough idea of theme and design details for your event. Ideally we prefer at least 4 weeks notice for wedding cake orders.
For other special occasion cake/ cookie inquiries, at least 2 to 3 weeks notice is preferred as dates book out regularly. However, during peak periods (September - December) some dates can book out faster. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible. We will always try our best to fit your order in when possible. 

How can I order a cake and/or cookies?
- Fill out and send a 'Cake Inquiry' form from our Specialty Cakes page.
  Try to give us as much information as possible so we can gain a good idea of what you have in mind.
- Once design, size, flavour etc. is confirmed, we will send you a confirmation invoice.
- A 50% non refundable deposit is required to secure a date and remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to  pick up.
- Pop by our shop on the agreed day and time to pick up your cake and/or cookies.
We endeavour to respond to your email within 48 hours (however, due to occasional high volumes, it may take longer. We will attend to the most urgent matters first). If you need to talk to us urgently, please call us on (02) 8021 2990.

If I give you a photo of a cake I want, can you copy it?
You are welcome to show us photos of cakes by other designers to help with the design of your cake, however we do not directly copy other cakes.
We usually create decorations out of cookie in place of 3D figurine decorations.

What flavours can I choose for my cake?
Cake flavours include vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, coconut or carrot.
Buttercream filling flavours include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, raspberry, mango, passionfruit, lemon or cream cheese.
Special filling flavours include espresso, nutella, salted caramel, chai, peanut butter or mocha.

Can I have a different flavour cake for each tier?
Yes! You can choose as many flavours as you have tiers for your cake. Please note that if you order a naked or semi-naked cake, different flavours will have different colours and affect the look of your cake.

Can we taste your cakes?
Yes, we sell sample packs of 4 cupcakes in 4 different flavours.
These are $20 and require 1 week notice (Please send us a request via enquiry form or email :)

What is the difference between fondant finish, buttercream finish and semi-naked finish?
Fondant is also referred to as ready to roll icing, which is traditionally used with wedding cakes. This finish has a more elegant and formal feel. It is ideal for sugar flowers, hand painted and piped detailing. Our technique of layering and filling the cake with buttercream and applying a coating of chocolate ganache beneath a thin layer of fondant ensures the cake stays moist yet is not too heavy.
Buttercream icing is a lighter, creamier alternative to fondant. When applied smooth, it can still have a similar elegant look to fondant finish, however it can also be applied to have a textured or ruffled effect. This finish offers a more relaxed and informal feel. 
Naked or semi-naked finish allows the natural texture of the cake to peek through. This finish works well with rustic and more casual celebrations.
Can we just order cookie toppers without cake?
We only offer cake toppers in conjunction with cake orders. Minimum order is 24 cookies with minimum of 12 cookies per design.

Do you deliver your cakes/ cookies?
Usually, we prefer our cakes or cookies to be collected from our shop in Croydon, however we are happy to assist delivering wedding cakes or larger cakes within Sydney CBD. Delivery cost depends on distance of venue from our shop, usually ranging from $50 to $80.
We are able to box and send our cookies Australia wide. Postage usually ranges from $12 - $40.

What is the best way to transport my cake?
Your cake will be packed carefully in a cake box for transit.
The best place to sit your cake is on a flat surface in your car. Ideally in the boot or on the floor below the front seat. We strongly recommend NOT to carry your cake on your passenger's lap, as any movements in transit are exaggerated when held. We recommend to keep the car as cool as possible with air conditioning. Please drive carefully :)

What is the best way to look after my cake after I pick it up? 
Before the event, keep your cake in a cool part of your home away from direct sunlight. In summer months you might have to keep your cake in an air conditioned room. If your cake has any fondant decorations, it is best not to store it in the fridge, as the change in temperature will cause condensation resulting with fondant getting sticky when you take it out of the fridge.
Cakes are best served at room temperature.
After the event, if there is any leftover you can keep the cake in the fridge. Cake should last for up to 2 days.

How long will my cookies last?
Made to order cookies last for at least 4 weeks in its sealed bag or air tight container.
What payments methods do you accept?
We accept American Express, Visa or MasterCard payments in our online shop.
Custom orders can be paid by the above cards or by direct bank transfer (details will be on the invoice) or credit card/ cash in our brick and mortar store.
